Dear Readers,
It is so good to have you here! A little bit about me…God has blessed me immensely with my hubby of 11 years. We have two anniversary dates we celebrate (more on that at a later date), and I am also a mom to 3 wonderful little loves! I live on an Island in a small village. Having been somewhat of a nomad for a number of years, when we moved here, I felt as though this is where I was most at rest, and I couldn’t be more happy.
Writing has been part of me since I was a little girl and has changed in form and shape over the years. What began with diaries, documenting my daily activities, transitioned to prayer requests and the things God was teaching me. And as I’ve learned to hear God’s voice, I have written more of what God has spoken to me. The door in my writing also opened up an opportunity to write for a magazine called InnerVoice when we lived in New Jersey. I keep every one of my journals and everywhere I’ve gone, they go too!
I love to share what God is doing in my life. It is my hope that you are encouraged to open your heart up to the God who pursues after you with the promise of an abundant and full life. Jesus says that as we “keep company with Him we will learn to live freely and lightly.” (Matt. 11:30 MSG) I am learning as I trust in Jesus that I want to live the life He has for ME.
I’d like to pretend that you have come over for tea (I guess you could have coffee too, if you feel so inclined : ) and we talk about how we are REALLY doing. I don’t do small talk well, but oh how I love to get to the deeper heart issues.
So for those of you who are still with me…anyone still here?? Haha!
All three of my kids are now in school and my head is coming up out of the trenches, embarking on a new step of my journey. It is my hope that you will find encouragement as I pour out my heart to you and share the deeper parts of me.
A New Way. God dropped this ‘word’ in my lap a few years ago and I couldn’t get away from it. It was everywhere!! When you discover who Jesus is and who He has designed you to be, you will discover life as you know it to be completely turned upside down! The old ways have passed away. You are brand new. A new past, a new present, and a new future awaits YOU!! As you jump into your life, you will find that you were created to be present, engaged, and thriving in your life. Jesus is the only way! Life awaits in Him! Will you take the risk with me, as I share my journey and believe that there could be more for you too?
